Our team is proud to have been an active Farley Foundation supporter. Each year we develop a fundraiser for the month of October to help raise funds for pets and their humans in need. Mariposa Veterinary Hospital has been collecting funds for the Farley Foundation for years. Currently, 466 veterinary clinics across Ontario are accessing Farley Foundation funding to support their most vulnerable clients. Our reach continues to grow, and so does our impact. Because of supporters like us and other hospitals, 1,202 pets have already received the veterinary care they needed in 2026. That's 1,202 families across Ontario who didn't have to make an impossible choice between their pet and their finances. Behind every one of those numbers is a story like Beau's.

Shari knows Beau better than anyone. So when her Shar Pei mix started to change—not eating, not acting like himself, clearly in pain—she knew something was wrong. A visit to our hospital confirmed a serious tooth root abscess. He needed dental surgery and radiographs, but the cost of care was out of reach. With support from the Farley Foundation, Beau received the treatment he needed. He’s now recovering well and back to his usual self. And Shari still has her dog by her side. This is what your support makes possible: protecting the bond between people and their pets, especially when they need it most.
