Supporting the Farley Foundation This October at Fort Malden Animal Hospital!

At Fort Malden Animal Hospital, we hold a special place in our hearts for the Farley Foundation—and we are proud to be long-time, enthusiastic supporters of this incredible cause.

Throughout the entire month of October (ending October 31, 2026), we are hosting an annual fundraiser to help low-income pet owners across Ontario get the necessary veterinary care their beloved companions need.

Why We Love the Farley Foundation

We’ve seen firsthand the life-changing impact this fund has on local families and their pets. Veterinary emergencies and sudden illnesses can happen to anyone, but financial hardship shouldn't stand in the way of vital medical care.

Over the years, funding from the Farley Foundation has allowed us to treat and save pets in a wide range of situations, including:

1. Routine & Acute Conditions: Treating painful ear infections, severe skin issues, and urgent medical ailments that cause pets daily discomfort.
2. Life-Saving Surgeries: Performing exploratory surgeries to remove dangerous foreign objects ingested by curious pets.
3. Emergency Interventions: Providing urgent diagnostic care and stabilization when time is of the essence.

The Farley Foundation is truly a blessing to so many pets and their owners in our community, ensuring that the human-animal bond stays strong even during challenging times.

💖 How You Can Help Us Make a Difference

We invite our wonderful clients and community members to join us in supporting this mission during October! Every dollar raised goes directly toward helping pets in need.

1. Bake Sale (with treats for humans) October 26th through 31, 2026 in our reception. Come and get some tasty treats!
2. Donate at Reception: Add a donation ($2, $5, $10, or any amount you choose) to your invoice during your visit.
3. Buy a Farley "Paw": Purchase a paper paw print at our front desk to write your pet's name on and display in our clinic lobby!
4. Spread the Word: Share our fundraiser with your friends, family, and fellow pet lovers!
